"I don't know too", "I also don't know", and "I don't know either", which one is better?

As native American English speaking persons, we can understand all. Here are the situations:

  1. There are several things you don't know: I don't know how to do this math problem and I also don't know how to do the physics problem. At this situation, you may use "also" and "too". Using either is also correct, in this situation.

  2. If someone said, "I don't know how to do this math problem." And you also have some issues on this math problem, then you should say, "I don't know how to do that one either." If you say, "I don't know how to do that one too", we can understand but we will not say that way.

In general, for a negative statement, we try not to use "also" or "too".
